Ian McHugh-National Disability Services on Engaging with Disability Enterprises. Ian is the Project Manager of Procurement for National Disability Services. David Ensor-Deakin University on the TAFE NSW Riverina Institute and Deakin University Partnership. David spoke of the partnership between TAFE NSW Riverina Institute and Deakin University allowing regional students the opportunity to complete diploma courses at TAFE and gain entry to Bachelor Degrees in the correlated courses at Deakin University whilst being able to remain in the region. Nicola James-Griffith City Council on Thinking outside the square in Economic Development looked at the challenges faced by Economic Development Officers when liaising with international visitors and connecting with business to promote new funding initiatives. Greater Hume Shire Council conducted a Work Inspiration Day. The day promotes the various careers that are available through Local Government and encourages students to explore these options.
