Development Officers Forum-Presentations

A well attended RDA Riverina Development Officers Forum was held on Wednesday 19th February 2014, at the Lake Cowal Conservation Centre in West Wyalong.

Professor Jim Pratley (CSU). Provided and overview of his report  Review into Agricultural Education and Training in NSW  to the Forum. To view the summary report please Click Here .

Dr Jacki Schirmer (University of Canberra). Provided a brief outline of some initial results on "The Regional Wellbeing Survey". Dr Schirmer will be at the May Development Officers Forum to provide informations on the final results. Lilian Parker, (Local Land Services Riverina), updated the forum on the newly formed Local Land Services Riverina. For more information please visit http://riverina.lls.nsw.gov.au/

Malcolm Carnegie, (Lake Cowal  Foundation), provided an overview of the work of the Lake Cowal Foundation and the role of the Lake Cowal Conservation Centre. Neil Pokoney, Mayor (Bland Shire Council), provided information on the issues and programs currently happening in the Bland Shire. For more information on the Bland Shire please visit http://blandshire.nsw.gov.au/
